Stefan Gazdzinski, PhD
Stefan Gazdzinski, PhD



Stefan Gazdzinski, PhD received Doctorate in biophysics from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland. Before joining Center for Imaging of Neurodegenerative Diseases (CIND) in 2001, he investigated physical properties of fluids and solutions in porous media and nano-spaces using methods of magnetic resonance.

At the CIND, Dr. Gazdzinski is involved in research using multimodality magnetic resonance methods and comprehensive neuropsychological assessment to study the effects of alcohol and substance use disorders on the brain neurobiology and function.

Dr. Gazdzinski’s research also focuses on the relationships of excess body weight to brain neurobiology and neurocognition.
